SELF The New £20,000 Portrait Painting and Drawing Prize
‘Pushing the boundaries of self representation in painting and drawing’
Run in conjunction with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Open Exhibition, SELF shortlisted works will form an exhibition of works alongside our annual show but each exhibition has a separate entry process.
Acceptable media: Oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, graphite, any dry medium and original prints.
Works must not exceed 2.4m in any direction.
Selectors: BBC Arts Editor, Will Gompertz; Painter, Philip Hale; Writer and Broadcaster, Charlotte Mullins.
Conditions: Up to six works can be submitted and a maximum of three selected. Work must have been completed within the last two years.
Works do not have to be for sale
