René Lalique (1860-1945) was, and remains, one of the most celebrated designers of his generation and one of the most important glassmakers of the 20th Century.
Lyon & Turnbull's inaugural Lalique auction, led by specialist Joy McCall, features a wonderful range of the renowned designers' work including rare examples of his Serpent vase from 1924; Perruches model from 1919 in both beautiful opalescent and deep red and a bold blue example of the 1920 design Escargot.
