René Lalique (1860-1945) was one of the most celebrated designers of his generation and a pre-eminent glass maker of the 20th Century, who continues to be highly regarded today. Following Lyon & Turnbull's successful inaugural Lalique auction in April, specialist Joy McCall, is delighted to be presenting another wonderful array work by the renowned designer including an impressive and rare La Chasse chandelier designed in 1913, an unusual cased opalescent Chevaux vase depicting horses designed in 1930 and an enthralling Tortues vase design in 1926 composed from a dense patchwork of tortoises.  Besides lighting and vases, the sale also features car mascots, scent bottles, bowls and plates, drinking wares, furniture, clocks, ashtrays, jewellery and figural works. Estimates range from £400-£120,000.

Lalique is part of Lyon & Turnbull’s October DESIGN series.
