"There is no greater esteem for a food photographer than being recognized by this competition, period. If you want your image compared to the finest photos in the world then this is the one.”

- Brendan Miller, Finalist 2024

World Food Photography Awards sponsored by Tenderstem®Bimi®Broccolini, now in its 14th year, is the world’s leading awards for food photography. From growing, farming, harvesting, to cooking, eating, celebrating and surviving, the images show us lives across the world through food.

Enjoy this smorgasbord of incredible imagery, from the James Beard Foundation Award, showing the people behind American food culture, Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year for storytelling from the world of wine, unearthed® Food for Sale for street markets up to the finest food halls, MPB Award for Innovation for wit and artistry, the Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers and the UN World Food Programme Food for Life, for the humanitarian side of food.

For the sheer joy of food, the Tiptree Cake Award shows how cake is at the heart of celebrations everywhere while Champagne Taittinger Food for Celebration shows everything from birthdays to Divali, M&S Food Portraiture for sumptuous shots, Fortnum & Mason Food at the Table for the theatre and pleasure of eating out, and On the Phone in support of Action Against Hunger. Food for the Family supported by The Felix Project.

While this year, for the very first time, the Jamie Oliver Youth Prize showcases the photographic talent of children, telling their own food stories through the camera lens.

Chosen from thousands of images submitted from up to 100 countries each year, the Finalists are chosen by a global judging panel chaired by David Loftus, known as Jamie Oliver’s photographer and the most published food photographer in the world. The Awards have even been name-checked in Netflix smash hit, 'Emily in Paris'.
