‘Art makes visible otherwise hidden cultural and psychological forces’, Gottfried Richter.After spending most of my life as a sculptor, sculpture teacher and student of sculpture, my ideas, reasons and attitude towards sculpture are constantly changing.

1944 Born in London, England
1961-64 Studied at High Wycombe College of Art, Buckinghamshire
1964-66 National Diploma in Design, specialising in Sculpture and Lettercutting at Camberwell School of Art
1966-68 Postgraduate Sculpture at City & Guilds School of Art
1968-69 Sculpture Assitant to Kim James, Uli Nimptch RA, David McFall RA, James Butler RA and Cubitt Bevis FRBS
1969-71 Lecturer in Sculpture, Drawing and Anatomy at Heatherley School of Fine Art
1971-72 Head of School. Heatherley-Wilson School of Art
