Bio

Nick Grove is an emerging landscape and portrait artist working representationally in oils. Nick is inspired by the Georgian town of Stamford where he lives and can often be seen painting ‘en plein air’ where the vitality of his landscapes can be experienced first hand. Other frequented parts of the UK include the Norfolk and Suffolk Coasts, Cambridge, Oxford, and London; as well as some locations abroad.

Galleries and exhibitions include Mall Galleries in London and local galleries in and around Stamford, including solo exhibitions throughout the year. Nick’s landscape paintings are owned by collectors from all over the world including the USA and Australia.

As well as a renowned landscape painter Nick is also an accomplished portrait painter. Notable exhibitions include the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. It can take several months to complete a large portrait which he creates in his Stamford studio.
