BP Portrait Award | Young Artist Award
RP Member Jamie Routley was awarded the Young Artist Award in 2012 by the BP Portrait Awards. The painting that won was a portrait of Tony, a newspaper vendor who also works at the The Four Vintners wine shop.
The following year in 2013, Routley's self portrait "Inner Dialogue" was selected for the BP Portrait Award at The National Gallery. This painting was also used to advertise the exhibition at the NPG on brochures and banners, which Routley often attributes his rise in popularity following the exhibition to.
