SWLA | Visitors' Choice Award 2024
/ Society of Wildlife Artists
Each year visitors to the Society of Wildlife Artists' annual exhibition, The Natural Eye, vote for their favourite work in the show.
This year's votes have been counted and we are delighted to announce the winner of the SWLA Visitors' Choice Award 2024...
Winner: Simon Griffiths SWLA | Little Owls

Simon creates ceramic and bronze sculptures with a strong emphasis on the wildlife of his home in the North Pennines, a landscape of windswept moorland, deep wooded valleys and moving water. His work combines observational accuracy with an impressionistic freshness which captures something of the excitement of an encounter.

Visitors described his work as:
'Beautifully made and the expressions are engaging and delightful!'
'Wonderfully executed (if I had a wall big enough, it would be mine!)'
'Very natural - a beautiful depiction, they almost look real'
