Mary is a painter in figurative, landscape and still life subjects in oil and watercolour.
Working away from the studio has always been an integral part of her painting, this approach revitalises her perception and images which are then taken back to the studio. All the gathered material is then worked out in her paintings. She is passionate about light and tone and always has a sketch book to hand.
