New English Art Club | Annual Exhibition 2025
The NEAC represents the best of figurative painting, drawing and printmaking. The artist members of the NEAC include many leading contemporary figurative artists from all around the UK whose work is hung alongside a large open submission of non-members' work.
‘We are committed to artistic authenticity grounded in the observation of life and articulated with the beauty of skilful language and craftsmanship,’ says the NEAC, ‘We were founded in 1886 inspired by the fresh vision offered by French Impressionism. We continue to represent art that is about visual inquisitiveness and looking anew.’
The NEAC Climate Emergency Prize
The NEAC, with the support of their Patron, His Majesty King Charles III has found sponsorship for a £2,000 Climate Emergency Prize, alongside a £500 runner-up prize for the two best artworks in their Annual Exhibition 2025 that address the climate emergency.
The NEAC feels that while no one has all the answers to the climate crisis, this prize is one small way to increase public awareness of such a critical issue. It also offers artists who feel impelled to address these concerns through their art an opportunity to show their work and even win an award. The winners will be selected by judges Emma Stibbon RA, Chris Packham CBE, Olwyn Bowey RA, and Leon Morrocco RSA.
